In addition to our in-person services, we also increasingly engage in the development of digital materials and making our expertise widely available. We do this for example, by developing customized materials for our clients that clarify the methods used in design processes. These materials can be used on their own or to support a workshop or course we are providing.
An example of how this is implemented, is in our collaboration with Radboud University (Nijmegen). We added the instructional videos to a train-the-trainer program, where we coached teachers of several Dutch Academic Universities in how to include Design Thinking in their curriculum or way of teaching. In eight videos, we guide the viewer through the ins and outs of the design process, using (amongst other methods) the Double Diamond (British Design Council). The videos are branded with both the Radboud University and Fundamentals ‘style’ and can be used within various educational programs of the University, related to design and/or innovation. To exemplify how these videos could be used, we applied them directly to the Radboud Honors Academy (Innovations for Healthy Lifestyles), where we also have a coaching role with Fundamentals.
We developed these videos in collaboration with our communication and design professionals and partnered with film studio Wilkins, a collaborative partner with whom we make almost all of our videos.
